OLD BUSINESS

  • Questions remain regarding building insurance. As previously noted, the previous cost to increase coverage is no longer valid because insurers are increasingly reluctant to insure any coastal properties. After meeting with Tracy, Susan Dragon submitted policy requests to three different insurers for $3MM (Mariner House is currently insured for

$ 2.5MM).  To date, none has responded.  Susan continues to follow up. The Board is committed to do its’ best to evaluate options to provide the best and most comprehensive insurance for Mariner House, including the possibility of replacement value assessment in the future.

NEW BUSINESS

  • Board meetings via Zoom will be discussed at the next meeting.

There being no further business, Bob Vanasse moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Kerric Harvey, and passed unanimously.  The meeting was adjourned at 6:54PM.

A special board meeting will be held to further discuss insurance options on receipt of bids.
