A Mariner House Board of Directors meeting was held via telephone conference call on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. All Board members were present. President Bill Hathaway called the meeting to order at 6:02PM. Tracy Canty also participated.
PROPERTY MANAGER REPORT
- Mariner House has been quite slow, which is not unusual during the winter.
- The new cabinets for Columbia are in; installation is scheduled for March. Most of the painting has been completed. Pictures on the Mariner House web site will be updated once the Columbia kitchen renovation is complete.
- Fame 11 and Defiance 22 have been sold.
- Foundation work will begin shortly.
- Joseph Guay will be retiring next year. It is hoped that the foreclosures on C12,13,and 20; D13, F13 and E23 will be completed.
- Maintenance fee payments continue to come in.
- Island News:
-The Boarding House and The Pearl will reopen as restaurants.
-The youth hostel is offered for sale at $7.9MM.
OLD BUSINESS
- Susan Dragon is still waiting for a response from underwriters re MH insurance coverage. The previous quote to increase coverage is no longer valid.
NEW BUSINESS
- There being no further business, Eileen Fox moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Tammy Rausch. The meeting was adjourned at 6:28pm.
